Sheree Holly is one of Australia's leading Professional ladies. She has competed and trained extensively around Australia and overseas. She founded DanceSpace Adelaide in 2009 along with Paul Biddle. This partnership was highly successful, becoming Australian Professional finalists as well as being finalists at all major Professional dance events in Australia.
In 2014 Sheree teamed up with new dance partner Damien Koulouris and their success went even further with Damien & Sheree becoming the New Zealand Professional Champions in Standard (Ballroom) and New Vogue. They also received placings in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane as well as Adelaide. They finished the year with a 5th placing in Singapore and 4th place at the Australian Championships. In 2015 they had some impressive results in ballroom, placing 2nd at the Adelaide Spectacular, 3rd at the Crown Championships in Melbourne, 4th on the Gold Coast at the Queensland Open, and 3rd in Melbourne at the Victorian Championships. In New Vogue they were Crown Professional Champions, and runners up at the Adelaide Spectacular, Queensland Open and Victorian Championships. Along with great success on the competitive floor, Sheree is also responsible for creating and training many of South Australia's top competitive couples ranging from Juveniles right through to the Masters age divisions. Sheree is incredibly passionate about developing dancers to their full potential and helping them meet their goals; whether those are to be the most graceful social couple on the floor, or competing at a State, National or International level. Sheree is also a qualified Coach and Adjudicator with DanceSport Australia.
Donna has been dancing since the age of eight where she started doing Jazz Ballet and then quickly moved into Ballroom and Latin dancing. She has always loved moving to music and loved the challenge that came with learning to dance. Donna was a very hard working student, and through her dedication to dance gained the right to represent Australia in the World Youth Latin American Championships held in Germany when she was just 16 years of age.
After completing school at the age of 17, Donna made the decision to move away from family to Melbourne to further her dancing career. During this time Donna travelled extensively throughout the world to learn from the top International coaches and compete at the highest level. Donna was lucky enough to be taught by two of the best coaches in the world, Robert and Helen Richey (Dancing with the Stars judge) which helped her achieve incredible success.
After winning all major Professional Championships within Australia, Donna and her partner David Byrnes became multiple Australian Professional Latin American Champions, Professional Ten Dance Champions and Professional Showdance Champions. She gained the right to represent Australia over five years in World Championships located in Germany, Austria, Hong Kong, Japan, USA and the United Kingdom. Donna is a highly experienced coach who has been invited to teach and lecture in several countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and Australia. Donna and her partner also featured on the first two seasons of Dancing with Stars as a demonstration couple.
After a very successful competitive career, Donna retired from competitions in 2006 and moved back to her home town of Adelaide to pass on her knowledge and experience to the up and coming dancers of South Australia. Donna has also completed her accreditation with DanceSport Australia and is an Accredited Coach & Adjudicator.
Ella has been dancing since she was 14, and currently competes in the styles of Ballroom, Latin, and New Vogue. She started competing just so she could wear the amazing costumes, but stayed for the music, the friends, and the challenge of constantly improving! Ella is studying at Uni for a Masters of Social Work degree, makes all of her own dance costumes AND is the resident studio photographer. Phew! Is there anything Ella can't do?! Oh and in the studio, she teaches classes, private lessons, and is part of the admin team.
